Winner, winner....Chicken dinner!

Thanks so much for celebrating National Scrapbooking Day with us this weekend.  We had 190 correct responses to our weekend long trivia contest event.  For each correct response, commenters received one entry.  We tallied all the entries, giving each person a number in the order they were received, entered into randomizer.org and came up with:

#21 Denise Bryant

Congratulations Denise!  Please visit lawnfawn.com and choose the stamp set you want, then email us your choice at mountainplainscrafters@gmail.com , along with your mailing address and we will forward that to Lawn Fawn.
Please respond within 7 days or another entrant will be chosen.

Thanks everyone for playing along!

National Scrapbooking Day with Mountain Plains Crafters~Sack it to Me!!!!

We're so excited to celebrate National Scrapbooking Day at Mountain Plains Crafters.  All the action is happening on our Community Facebook page here:

We have a wonderful prize sponsored by Lawn Fawn, a stamp set of your choosing!  How awesome is that?  You get to pick the prize!  So what do you have to do to qualify?  First, be sure you "like" us on our Facebook page, then head over to Lawn Fawn on FB and tell them MPC sent you (not required but they'd love to hear from you!)

Be sure and comment on one or all of our trivia questions throughout the weekend.  Please only comment once per question, however each question you answer, earns you an entry!  Our design team has chosen the theme, "Creating with Paper Bags".  Yes, we're doing a little upcycling and making fun things with paper bags.  Be sure and visit their blogs below and show a little love.
Check in throughout the day Saturday and Sunday, answer the questions and we'll announce a winner on Monday.  The contest ends Sunday, May 3rd at midnight ET.   OPEN TO INTERNATIONAL! YES!

For my paper bag project/s, I chose to make paper bag flowers. I punched assorted flower shapes out used some distressed ink and then shimmer spritz on them...also liquid pearls and different brads. I layered them six thick, glued them together and scrunched and scrunched again...until I achieved the desired look. Quite fun.
My gf Kitty and I spent a good part of this past week at my cabin. With my flowers in tow and other assorted crafting supplies, I attempted to make some creations. I discovered I didn't bring near as much or the "right" stuff that I should have. Having said that, I am happy with what I created.
I used all Unity stamps:)

Please play along and have some fun!!!!!
