I love how this card turned out.  I used the sketch from SCS393 this past Wednesday.  I used a blender pen to add pink pirouette, melon mambo and kiwi kiss.  The image was stamped in burnt umber.  I added a dark brown strip across the bottom of the ladies. Great set...please head on over to Mark's and check it out here.

My second card was done using Authentique's Uncommon dp, pink pirouette, black and soft suede as my inks.  I am really enjoying this set!

TTSTV#7....Cracked Glass...a Hawaii Sunset

Hi there!  My card today was made for Davi Reid's tutorial on cracked glass.  Head on over to Speedy TV to check it out under "tutorial time".  This has to be one of my favorite techniques.  Messy, but so fun and I love the end result.  Unfortunately, my two tilted vertical cracks don't look as nice as I'd hoped.  I rubbed my black ink on them and it stained the "glass".  Live and learn! I used the fabulous set Silly Shells which I stamped in burnt umber and then brayered pink passion and groovy guava.  I had masked the sun to do the sky and then sponged in apricot appeal and then decided to put a pink cloud in front of the sun.....a Hawaii sunset!
Take care,
Pam

DRS Designs #33-Blue Christmas

My card today was made for two challenges...the SC on SCS.  I had a better idea in mind but it came out this way.  I wish I'd done a square card:)  Pretty much kept it monochromatic.  Head on over to DRS Designs to play in their 33rd Thursday challenge...say that 3 times fast!
I used the snowflake swirls and triple tree with snow.  Both were embossed with irridescent ice ep.  A felt snowflake, the snowflake punch and a little tiny snowflake used and some hardware.
Take care,
Pam

Happy Day...FOSTV sketch with a twist challenge 1

I have been a creating fiend....disregarding all the laundry from Florida!  Oh well, it isn't going anywhere.  I used Welcome Poppies and stamped it in noir black and put crystal effects and a rhinestone on it when the card was all together.
Head on over to FOSTV to play in the fun challenges!

A Hawaii Beach Vacation FOSTV 28

FOSTV challenge 28...to make a vacation related card.  Well, I just spent two weeks on the big island of Hawaii.  I LOVE it.  I could definitely spend my winters there.  It is gorgeous and the flowers grow like weeds.  I hope to share some of my photos on some cards in the near future.  Definitely a memorable trip.  I used Silly Shells by MFP's a HC to make this.  I stamped the shells randomly in burnt umber and then brayered sahara sand on.  Next I sponged baja breeze around the edges.  Stray piece of dp on desk which fit perfectly and I sponged a bit of baja breeze on there as well.  I paper pieced the shells in the sentiment...added a brad with script on it and a piece of fun hardware.  My fave part it the netting beneath the sentiment...perfect for a beachy vacation card! The sentiment and the shell layer are on dimensionals.
My second card was made with Island life and I made it to depict Captain Hook's monument where we snorkeled and my daughter MacKenna truly swam with a pod of spinner dolphins...........it was though she was part of the pod.  It was a site to behold!

Have a great day!
Aloha,
Pam
