Snow can fall so gently

Good Wednesday afternoon!  I wish we had some snow...........just wind.  LOTS of wind.  I made this card with DRS Designs fabulous image Bootprints in the Snow and the sentiment is actually only a portion of a sentiment called Stepping Back in Time Greeting.  I stamped the image on watercolor paper and used an aqua painter to add melon mambo, baja breeze and not quite navy.  Added some dimensional paint with shimmer for the snow drifts and spritzed entire image with white shimmerz spray.  Papers:  melon mambo, watercolor, not quite navy, white.
Have a great rest of the day!

Top Tip Tuesday Challenge Blog...altered metal and tins

Good Morning and happy Tuesday! This creation was made for Top Tip Tuesday's Challenge blog which DRS Designs is sponsoring.  Go check it out and play along.  The challenge is to alter some kind of metal or tin.  I used a small evaportated milk can (I made peanut butter fudge with the milk).  I removed bottom of can (top has the pull tab to open).  I used the lovely DRS Designs new release stamp- filigree heart which I stamped in versamark and embossed with black ep.  Used pink glitter similar in color to regal rose ribbon.  I measured the paper around the can and stamped then new release from DRS Designs girl filigree stamp repeatedly with versamark and embossed with black ep.  I used the bottom of can as template for paper top which I stamped like the sides and embossed...cut a hole for the pop top to show and tied a few ribbons in knots on the pop top.  I don't have the bottom adhered yet, but think I'll fill it with candy hearts:)
May everyone have a joyous day!

Winter

Good Morning Friends in the Cyber World!!!  Happy New Year!  I wish everyone a year of  health and happiness..........and a better economy!
My card for today uses some fabulous new releases from DRS Designs as well as some great staples.
New release stamps:  Skating Penguin, Winter Wording Sentiment
I stamped the snow background several times in bermuda bay.  Stamped and cut out the ribbon and changed the shape of it so that it would fit on the card (so versatile!)and put on dimensionals. The "winter" sentiment is from a gorgeous sentiment-Winter Wording Sentiment...the remainder is inside the card, which is
Wafting winds
Icicles shimmering
Nature's wonderfland
Twirling snowflakes
Evergreens glisten
Roaring fires relief
The penguin was stamped and some dots were added on her scarf in bermuda bay.
Papers:  white, black, bermuda bay
